Six Months

I am 28 weeks and am so excited to be in the third trimester. I have my glucose test next week and then will start going to the doctor every two weeks. Baby boy has been moving around like crazy and I'm not sure if I have forgotten what it felt like with MB, but he seems more spastic in his movements. I will not feel anything for a while and then out of nowhere, it's like he is doing jumping jacks and running in place and I can feel him moving/punching/kicking in several different areas at the same time. We haven't decided on a name yet, much less started getting our house ready. I feel like I was more on top of things when I was pregnant with Mary Beth. I already had her nursery finished by this time, her clothes were washed and everything was organized just waiting on her to arrive. I had hoped that our house would have sold by now but the nesting instincts are kicking in so I am going to start getting things ready because who knows when this house will sell! We are going to use MB's crib, so at some point soon, we will need to move her to a big girl bed. We imagine her jumping on the bed all night long and I already have had dreams of her leaving her room in the middle of the night and walking around the house. She always seems to surprise us with how she handles things so I am hoping she will exceed our expectations once again. We are going to put the crib in our guest room but leave the other bed so people will have a place to stay when they visit. We have talked about having them share a room but we think MB will not be able to leave him alone since she is so obsessed with babies. It should be interesting! I am taking my last trip to DC in the first week of June since my doctor doesn't want me flying eight weeks out. I can't believe I'm almost to that point, crazy! August 16th is sneaking up on us very quickly! And can I just say how hot I have been! Oh my goodness, I have been sweating like crazy already, not fun. My hands are already swelling (not to mention everything else) so I have pulled out my backup wedding ring when I know I am going to be outside for a while. Okay, on to the dreaded belly shots. :-)
