International Night

The kid's school hosts an International Night every year.  Each class chooses a country and spends several months learning all about that country.  It's such a fun night and we have enjoyed them the past two years.  MB's class studied Portugal and Ben's class studied Japan or "Pan" as he called it.  MB learned a dance, did lots of fun art projects, learned about the culture and we had ethnic food at the event.  Ben wore a "mono" and was proud to show off his banzai tree and other art projects.  All around it was a fun evening.

Helping prepare the food we took, strawberries and Portuguese bean dip.

Showing off the rooster she made out of clay and then painted.

Her water color of the Portugal beaches.

His kimono could not have been cuter.

The cheese face is a killer!

Not sure how he feels about me taking a picture of his bonsai tree.

It was super cute though.

MB's jelly fish.

The had such a fun night!

Proudly representing Japan and Portugal.
