Campus Ministry - Help Needed

As many of you know, college ministry has been a huge part of my life and is how I was able to meet many of you!  I am currently serving as the Chair of the Emory CCF (AKA Bread) Board and have the pleasure of cheering on Angie Stryker and her staff as they love on the Emory students and build community there. 

I am writing because we need your help.  The current campus house is TINY and we have outgrown the space!  We currently are renting the house from Emory and more than likely, it is going to be bulldozed in the next few years.  The Baptist folks at Emory own a campus house that they are not using, and they would like to sell it to another ministry.  This house is larger, in a better location, and would better suit the growing ministry of Bread.  We have prayerfully considered the purchase of this house and feel that it is the right move for Bread.  Our goal is to raise $90,000 over the next 90 days.  This will allow us to put down a payment of more than 20% on the house we are purchasing for $400,000 (an amazing deal in Decatur!).  We already have raised $32,000 so we are off to a great start!

Please consider making a onetime, tax deductible gift towards the purchase of the campus house.  These students are craving a place to be their home away from home and a refuge from their crazy Emory schedules.
