Growing Up

Within a few weeks of each other this big boy threw away all of his "sassys" and moved into a big boy bed.  Much to our surprise, he did extremely well with both changes!  Next on the agenda, potty training.  I'm not looking forward to that!  There is a reason we saved it for last.

Tossing all of the sassys in the trash.  He asked about them a few times but did great and was able to sleep without any issues.

This youth bed was my great grandaddy's.  It has been in storage since it didn't have any rails.  Dan was able to make some for the bed and it turned out perfect!

He is so proud of it and has done great!  Miraculously, he stays in the bed and calls for us in the morning when he wakes up to come and get him.  I'm sure it won't be too long before he realizes he can come and go as he pleases.  We are enjoying it for now!

Sleeping at the end of the bed.  He refuses to get under the covers and says "no covers" every time we try.
