Snow Days

We had plenty of snow this year and although we enjoyed it for a little while, we are ready for the warm weather!  We were able to put our steep back yard to good use and it became sledding central during both of the snow weeks.  The kids didn't love it as much as we thought they would but Dan and I had a blast!

Our first morning out!
They were so happy at the beginning and then their hands got wet and cold so we went in for hot chocolate.

After being couped up for several days, I started planning activities.  Pouring the rice kept Ben occupied for at least 20 minutes.

The tongue totally helps with his concentration.  :)

MB had fun doing some Montessori worksheets I printed out for her.

Since Valentines Day was coming up, we made Shanna's famous sugar cookies.
Decorating with icing was a favorite part for sure.

Our cul-de-sac was absolutely beautiful first thing in the morning.

The trees in the back were pretty amazing too.
She has always wanted to do a snow angel!  When she finally got her chance, she decided she wasn't a fan since she got soaked.  :-)
