pictures where we all look as happy as we felt
doting grandparents
being adventurous with poses
holding hands with those we love
being together
lounging without the need for sunscreen
correcting grandaddy when he has the story all wrong
eating dessert after every meal
playing in the shallow water
having the beach to ourselves
climbing up to the sky
standing by your hero
seeking shade wherever possible
licking a vanilla wafer dipped in sand
making funny faces
hydrating after playing in the sand
and last but not least...feeling oh so pretty in your bathing suit.

ReplyDeletesoooo cute. she cracks me up with her little bald head! she's made good progress on the teeth, though, so i am sure the hair is right around the corner. oh...and it was so nice of your brother to wear his georgia shirt for the family pic....seriously. was that really his only black shirt? i think the photographer could have photo shopped it out, but he/she must have been a bulldog too!
